Modern Fitness Barre
Dec 2021 - Class currently suspended under lockdown measures. Check back for restart dates when regulations change.
A multi-disciplinary class, shaped through years’ of experience in dance / teaching / pilates / rehab. Use the support and resistance of the barre and floor to:
Improve movement integration
Enhance your balance
Lengthen muscles
Expand breathing capacity and techniques
Explore and enjoy all the planes of movement
Complement high impact fitness regime
Ease back stiffness / pain
This is NOT a ballet workout. It uses some elements of dance, but no dance experience or ability is necessary, the barre is a piece of apparatus useful to all body types. This class will make you more comfortable in yourself in motion and help with daily balance and movement control.
Thursday 19:00 - 20:00 from Nov 11, Kompaszaal, KNSM-Laan 311.
Contact us to register pilatesforeverybody@gmail.com or tel +31 644 114 216

All six classes (Nov 11 - Dec16) €100
Please bring your own mat and resistance band (if you have one).
Following a refit and renovation the Kompaszaal offers new studios for dance and movement. The historically listed ‘ballroom’ on the first floor is host to dance classes/events throughout the week. Rediscover your joy in movement, and in the body you inhabit by trying a new class at the Kompaszaal.
The Kompaszaal barre studio is on the ground floor. All facilities are on the first floor. As the Kompaszaal is a ‘horeca’ location you may be asked to show a valid corona pass at any time.
